Suorin are well known for their original card design pod vapes. Much like the Suorin Air and Suorin Air Plus, the Suorin Air Pro features the same portability. Suorin prides itself on their devices delivering great flavor while also remaining small and super portable.
The Suorin Air Pro is the latest in the “Air” lineup and comes with a 930mAh battery and will fire at up to 22W. Unfortunately, the Suorin Air Pro only comes with one pod which features a 1.0ohm mesh coil. On a positive note, the pod holds more ejuice than its predecessors, up to a maximum of 4.9ml.
I have been using the Suorin Air Pro for almost two weeks and will tell you everything you need to know about this device. Should the Suorin Air Pro be the next pod you pick up?

Design and Build Quality
- The Suorin Air Pro is very similar in design to the Suorin Air Plus. It features the original card shape design and is 96mm tall, 45mm wide and just 12.7mm thick. It has enough weight so that it doesn’t feel cheap but is also light enough to carry with you. The shape of this device is perfect for pockets.
The device itself is made of zinc alloy and feels very solid. My review device is blue throughout and features an American flag design printed on the front and back of the device. On the front of the device you can find the Suorin name and logo printed near the bottom. On the back, near the bottom right side of the device, you will find the Suorin name as well as the name of the device “Air Pro” printed.
You can find the power button on the right side of the Suorin Air Pro, closer to the top of the device. The button is very small and quite honestly, it’s placed in the worst spot. While it is suitable for turning the device on and off, it doesn’t work so well for drawing. I found myself using the draw activation over the button activated draw because of this. I would have liked the power button to be located on the front of the device as it would have been much more comfortable to use.
On the left side of the device you will find the micro-usb charging port. Unfortunately, the Suorin Air pro does not come with fast-charging Type C. That being said, the device takes about 50 minutes to fully charge. One positive thing is that you can use the Suorin Air Pro while it is charging.
There are two airflow holes on either side of the device. This design takes away more heat and speeds up the airflow, or so they claim. One airflow hole is located next to the micro USB port, while the other is located just above the power button.
One of the things I disliked about this device was that there is no texture to the device and the mirror finish doesn’t give it much grip. This mirror finish also makes it impossible to keep the device clean as you’ll always have your fingerprints all over the device.
The Suorin Air Pro comes in 11 different design and color options: Ice Blue, Lively Green, Sunglow Gold, Lavender Purple, Rainbow, Silver, Black, Faded Skeleton, Gunmetal, Star-Spangled Red and Star-Spangled Blue.
The device comes with only one pod, the Air Pro Mesh 1.0ohm. The Suorin website claims that this pod can be refilled up to 6 times. With the size of the tank being 4.9ml, you should be able to get to use an entire 30ml bottle of ejuice with just the one pod. Their website also mentions that they will be releasing more pod options in the future.
To fill the pod is super simple. At the bottom of the pod you will find a silicone tab, just pull on that and it will reveal the fill port. Fill and let the pod sit upright for about 5 minutes before you insert the pod into the device. Make sure you close the silicon plug after you refill and before you insert it so that there aren’t any leaking mishaps.
The Suorin Air Pro features haptic feedback, so when you insert the pod into the device it will vibrate. This lets you know that it’s inserted properly and ready to use. If you would like to check your battery status you can remove the pod and re-insert it (or tap the power button) and the power button will light up, green, blue or red. Keep reading to find out what these colors represent.
The device will also use haptic feedback to let you know if your vaping time has exceeded 5 seconds, if you turn on or off the device, and if you plug the device into the charger. The Suorin Air Pro will vibrate once for each of these occurrences.
The pod is tinted but not so dark that you cannot see the juice level. You can still pretty easily see how much ejuice you have left in the pod so that’s a pro for this device.
The other thing that I dislike about this device is the mouthpiece. The pod is quite wide due to the design of the device and because of this you cannot comfortably wrap your mouth around it. Instead of putting the mouthpiece in the center, they put it off to the side. To put it simply, there was a 50/50 chance I put my mouth on the wrong side of the device to vape. This was extremely frustrating, and I would have preferred that they centered the opening.
Battery
The Suorin Air Pro comes with a 930mAh built-in battery. It’s not uncommon to see larger batteries in pod vapes and even in some disposables, but this battery lasted a really long time. I was able to get almost two and a half days of heavy use without having to recharge.
There is an LED light on the power button that lets you know your battery charge level. The LED will light up when you take a draw or put the device on charge. There are three LED colors:

As I mentioned earlier, the Suorin Air Pro does not come with fast Type C charging. It uses micro-USB to charge. I charged it a few times and you can expect the device to take about 50 minutes to charge from completely dead. Due to the pass-thru charging, you can use the device while it charges though.
Performance
This pod vape may be small but she is mighty. The Suorin Air Pro offers a super smooth draw and a nice throat hit. I didn’t have any issues with it while using the device and I had no malfunctions.
This device only comes with the one pod, which has a 1.0ohm mesh coil. I have to admit, the flavor and wicking has been really good with the 70VG ejuice I used. I did not experience any dry hits and found the coil to wick really well. Even as I have used this one coil for a while it still tastes as good as it did when I first started using it. I believe Suorin when they say that you can refill this pod about 6 times before you have to toss it because I am almost there and have not noticed a drop in flavor yet.
The only negative thing I have to say is that I did notice what looked to be some minor leakage around the refill area but I think that it was just condensation. In any case it was very minor and not even enough to be called a leak.
Verdict
This device has a lot to offer: it has great flavor, a large ejuice capacity, and it’s also super portable. On the other hand, the device has some cons: it doesn’t have any grip, it is a fingerprint magnet, and the mouthpiece and power button are horribly placed. Still, if you can live with these minor annoyances (and that’s what I think they are, annoyances and not deal breakers) then the Suorin Air Pro is still a solid device.
